Barcelona end their season with a loss to Valencia
Barcelona bid farewell to their Polish star Robert Lewandowski, who will leave after his contract expires this summer, with a 3-1 defeat to Valencia on Saturday evening in the 38th and final round of the Spanish La Liga. Lewandowski scored Barcelona's first goal in the 60th minute, but five minutes later, Javi Guerra equalized for Valencia.In the 70th minute, Luis Rioja scored Valencia's second goal, and then his teammate Guido Rodríguez added a third in the seventh minute of second-half stoppage time. Lewandowski will leave Barcelona after four seasons with the Catalan club, during which he won three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, and three Spanish Super Cups.
Barcelona, who won the title for the 29th time in their history, remain top of the table with 94 points after winning the title for the second consecutive season under their German coach Hansi Flick, while Valencia raised their tally to 49 points in eighth place.
