A delegation from the Arab League visits Somalia

 Today, a delegation from the Arab League visited the Somali capital, Mogadishu, according to the Somali National News Agency.

Members of the Arab delegation received at Adam Adi International Airport in Mogadishu Hamza Adam, Permanent Secretary of the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ilyas Sheikh Omar Abu Bakr, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, and Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al-Otaibi, Ambassador of the Arab League to Somalia.

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with Somali officials to discuss ways of cooperation and support that should be provided to Somalia during the difficult period it is going through.
