The Somali Ambassador to Germany and Poland officially presented his Letters of Credence to Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary, during a ceremony held on 17 February 2026 in Budapest. This event marked the Ambassador’s accreditation as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Hungary in a non-resident capacity.
This ceremony represents the first official presentation of credentials by a Somali Ambassador to Hungary, signaling a historic milestone in diplomatic relations between the two nations.
