Minister of Family concludes National Women's Week activities

 Last night, Her Excellency Khadija Mohamed Al Makhzoumi, Minister of Family and Human Rights Development, concluded the activities of National Women's Week and the celebration of International Women's Day, which falls on March 8th.

The event was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Moallem Faki, Minister of Defense; Her Excellency Mariam, Deputy Minister of Family; His Excellency Alper Aktaş, the Turkish Ambassador to the country; Mr. Hassan Mohamed Hossain, Governor of Banadir; and other officials and distinguished guests.

Her Excellency Khadija Al Makhzoumi expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the businesswomen who participated in the Women's Trade Fair, as well as to the officials who supported and encouraged women during the fair's events.

The Ministry of Family and Human Rights Development organized an unprecedented event this year to celebrate National Women’s Week and International Women’s Day, during which small projects run by women and their role in social development were reviewed.
