The Minister of Health participates in the 64th session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers in Geneva
His Excellency Dr. Ali Haji Adam, Minister of Health and Community Welfare, participated today, Tuesday, in the 64th regular session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, held in Geneva, on the sidelines of the 79th World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization.The meeting discussed a range of priority health issues, including the development of the health sector in Arab countries and the strengthening of Arab health integration, with the aim of improving the quality of health services and ensuring their accessibility to citizens across the Arab world.
During the session, the Council of Arab Health Ministers adopted the Arab Strategy for Promoting the Health of Mothers, Children, and Adolescents in the Arab Region. In his address, His Excellency the Minister of Health emphasized the importance of regional cooperation, the exchange of health expertise, and joint support for developing the health systems of the member states of the League of Arab States.
