 The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adan, participated today in the opening of the 79th World Health Assembly, which officially opened in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Minister was accompanied by a delegation of department directors and staff from the Ministry of Health, representing the Federal Republic of Somalia. They will participate in discussions, side meetings, and the adoption of important decisions related to the conference.

This conference is held annually with the participation of health sector leaders and officials from around the world. This year's discussions focused on developing healthcare systems, strengthening international cooperation, and formulating strategies to address global health challenges.

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare affirmed its commitment to continuing to develop healthcare services in the country, enhancing international cooperation, and actively participating in international platforms dedicated to improving public health.
