The Emirates Red Crescent continues to implement the Iftar project in Mogadishu

The Emirates Red Crescent help

The Iftar campaign carried out by the Emirates Red Crescent continues in Somalia within the generosity of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, where 600 iftar meals are distributed daily to needy families, orphans, people with special needs and the displaced in the various districts of Mogadishu, under the supervision of the State Embassy in Somalia.

This assistance contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Somali people who are suffering from a humanitarian crisis caused by drought, inflation and high food prices.

It should be noted that the United Arab Emirates operated an air and sea bridge to deliver humanitarian aid to the Somali people affected by drought. Four planes carrying humanitarian aid, in addition to a ship carrying humanitarian aid, arrived at the port of Mogadishu.
