The Speaker of the People's Assembly participates in the swearing-in ceremony of members of the Southwest State House of Representatives

 The Speaker of the House of the People in the Federal Parliament, Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), participated in the swearing-in ceremony of the new members of the South West State House of Representatives, which was held in Baidoa.

Also delivering a speech at the event was the Interim President of the South West State of Somalia, Mr. Jibril Abdirashid Haji, who emphasized the importance of the new members of parliament taking the oath of office to assume their assigned responsibilities.

For his part, the Speaker of the People's Assembly congratulated the newly elected representatives, praying that God Almighty would grant them success in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities for which they were elected. He also urged them to serve the citizens with sincerity, transparency, and a high sense of responsibility, and to work towards achieving development, strengthening unity, and serving the public interest of the Southwest State community.
