 Football fans in general, and fans of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in particular, are preparing to follow his first participation in the Saudi stadiums, by facing Al-Nasr and Al-Ettifaq, in the 14th round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.

Ronaldo joined the Saudi victory during the winter transfer period, in a historic deal worth 200 million euros per year, with the contract valid until June 2025. The Portuguese star will participate in his first mission with his new team, at the “Marsol Park” stadium, where he hopes to lead Al-Nasr to regain the top spot in the league, after Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Fayhaa and advanced to first place with 31 points.

Al-Fayhaa is one point ahead of Al-Nassr, who played one less game, so defeating Al-Ettifaq will put Al-Nassr back in the lead. The upcoming match attracted the attention of the world, as tickets quickly sold out, while a group of European and international sports channels flocked to obtain broadcast rights.

This match comes after the "Don" distinguished itself during the Riyadh Season Cup match, which brought together Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr stars against French Paris Saint-Germain, where some of the world's biggest stars play, headed by Argentine World Cup winner Lionel Messi and French Kylian Mbappe.

Ronaldo scored two goals in the match, and was awarded the "Man of the Match" award. It is noteworthy that the Portuguese star participated in 949 official matches at the level of the clubs in which he played (Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus) in all competitions since his professional football. During it, he scored 701 goals and made 223 goals.
