Emirati pioneer Sultan Al Neyadi publishes the first message from space

 After his arrival at the International Space Station as part of the "Cro-6" team, Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi published today, Wednesday, his first message from space. Al-Neyadi said, in a tweet that he posted on his official Twitter account: "Peace to Earth from space... Peace to the homeland and its leaders."

And he added, "Peace be upon everyone who carried Zayed's ambition in his heart and directed his eyes towards us in space...the dream has become a reality and the march continues." The Emirati astronaut, accompanied by the Crew-6 mission crew, successfully launched to the International Space Station last Thursday.

Al-Neyadi will embark on the longest scientific mission for the Arabs in space, which will last for six continuous months at the International Space Station. He will participate in scientific experiments in ten vital areas throughout the duration of the mission.

Al-Neyadi said, earlier, that he has a busy schedule of research during the coming days, especially since the "crew-5" crew who is with them on board the station will leave after three days, while his "crew-6" crew will take over all the tasks on board the station.

He added, "We have a good number of scientific experiments in which the United Arab Emirates participates in partnership with international space agencies, as well as scientific experiments that bear an exclusive Emirati imprint."
