The "YouTube Stories" feature will disappear next month, to ensure that other features are given priority according to the platform. The feature was first launched in 2018 and allowed content creators with more than 10,000 subscribers to post short videos that expire after 7 days.
The change will take effect on June 23, after which the option to create a new YouTube Story will no longer be available. And the feature of stories that fade after a certain period of time lost its luster after it was copied by all other applications, whether Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.
YouTube recently announced that it would be rolling out handles for YouTube channels. Whether you’ve just heard about them or you already got an email from YouTube saying it’s time to choose one, you’re probably wondering what they are and how they’re different from YouTube channel names.
