 Senior security officials in Mogadishu held a meeting to discuss Mogadishu's security strategy in 2024 and improve the security landscape in the capital. Security force officers in the capital provided comprehensive briefings to officials, outlining the new security plans drawn up for Mogadishu this year.

The session was chaired by Mohamed Ali Haga, Minister of State in the Ministry of Internal Security in the Federal Government of Somalia, and included the Somali Police Commander, the Police Commander in Banadir Region, the Deputy Commissioner for Security and Politics in the region, district directors of the capital, Mogadishu, and officials from various security forces, including the police. And the military police.
