Vinicius  appeared extremely angry after coach Xabi Alonso decided to substitute him in the 71st minute, bringing on Rodrygo to replace him.

DAZN revealed the words Vinicius  said as he left the pitch and headed to the locker room: "Why do I always get substituted?"

"He added angrily: "I will leave the team... I will leave, it is better that I leave."

The footage showed Vinicius directing angry words towards the sky in a moment of clear emotion, while Alonso tried to calm the situation by quickly substituting him.
