His Excellency, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, met with His Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh, leader of the sister Republic of Djibouti, in a meeting characterized by warmth, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to regional stability.

According to an official statement issued by the Somali Presidency, the two leaders engaged in in-depth consultations regarding coordinated diplomatic initiatives aimed at safeguarding Somalia’s territorial integrity. They emphasized the critical role of friendly and brotherly nations that oppose any attempts to divide Somalia, highlighting the importance of regional solidarity in maintaining peace and stability.
