Prime Minister seeks to combat terrorism in Somalia

 The Prime Minister of the Somali Federal Government, Hamza Abdi Berri, who is in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, held a meeting with the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Musa Faki Mohamed, to discuss cooperation in combating the terrorist Al-Shabab movement.


The meeting between Hamza Abdi and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission discussed strengthening cooperation between the Somali government and the African Union, especially in the areas of security, politics and fighting Al-Shabaab


The Prime Minister’s efforts to end the presence of the Al-Shabab movement linked to Al-Qaeda, which is currently a force and threatens not only Somalia, but also neighboring countries, so all countries want to eliminate them quickly before the development of the crisis


The new government really seeks to end terrorism and spread security and safety in the lands of the homeland that were destroyed by terrorism during the era of the previous government. Therefore, the Prime Minister is trying to eliminate terrorism so that it will not be an obstacle again.
