The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, listened to a report on the activities related to building the financial auditing body and its functions, from the State Auditor General, Mohamed Mahmoud Ali, and members of the Somali Accountants Association.
The participants in the meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Berri, focused on the importance of building this body, which will play a good role in producing highly skilled and recognized accountants who will be part of the efforts to improve the system’s management process.
Building this body is of great importance, including improving the process of managing the financial and employment system, creating job opportunities, financial efficiency and financial stability, encouraging foreign investment and developing the country's economy.
