Somalia and China are discussing strengthening relations and cooperation

 Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Adam Haddu, on Monday received Chen Wendy, ChargĂ© d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Mogadishu.

The two officials discussed ways to strengthen the already existing relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the economic and technological fields.

Hado expressed his gratitude to the Chinese authorities for their support to his country in international forums, and the Chargé d'Affairs shared Somalia's efforts to lift the arms embargo that hinders the rebuilding of the country's security forces.

In turn, Qin emphasized the importance of Somalia and Africa in general to China, and expressed his commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries. Both sides concluded their meeting with a strong commitment to continue their cooperation and build stronger ties in the future.

Somalia continues the path of correcting relations with countries in order to increase its allies and thus increase its strength in the face of the crises it faces, and also in the face of terrorism that is destroying Somalia day after day, so they will be eliminated soon
