UEFA announced on Friday that it has imposed sanctions on Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, his teammate Robert Lewandowski, and the club's coaching staff.

The Spanish newspaper Marca reported that UEFA punished Barcelona for "violations" during the Champions League semi-final match against Inter Milan.

The statement said that Juventus imposed fines of €5,000 on the team's strikers, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, for failing to comply with the instructions of the anti-doping official. They were late arriving at the doping control center after the Inter Milan match, violating anti-doping regulations.

According to the same source, UEFA fined the team's coach, Hansi Flick, and his deputy, Marcus Sorg, €20,000 each, and suspended them for one match in European competitions, for violating "UEFA's General Principles of Conduct and the UEFA Code of Conduct," according to Marca.

UEFA also imposed sanctions on Barcelona, mandating it pay a €5,250 fine for throwing objects onto the pitch, and an additional €2,500 fine for fans setting off fireworks during their match against Inter Milan.

Marca reported that these sanctions will be implemented immediately, impacting Barcelona's next European match, which will be played without the team's coach and vice-coach.
