Barcelona's Spanish star, Lamine Yamal, entered as a candidate for the World's Best Player award after his impressive performances this season. His famous agent, Jorge Mendes, considered that his client deserved to win the Ballon d'Or, amid competition between his Brazilian colleague Rafinha and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's Spanish top scorer.
With months remaining until the announcement of the Ballon d'Or winner, Rafinha, the Barcelona player, and Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, top the nominations, but the performances presented by the youngster Yamal (17 years old) made him enter the list strongly due to the achievements he achieved and the levels he presented throughout the season.
