 His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with Wafel Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles, on the sidelines of the closing day of the World Government Summit held in Dubai.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in light of the bonds of friendship between the UAE and Seychelles, according to the Emirates News Agency, WAM.
The two sides discussed the requirements for improving coordination between the two countries in order to discover more opportunities for cooperation in various vital sectors, especially in terms of government development, economic development, investment, trade and tourism exchange.
The meeting discussed the importance of the topics on the agenda of the tenth session of the World Government Summit, and the value the event represents as a comprehensive and stimulating platform for concerted efforts of governments around the world in finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing humanity.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait. The meeting reviewed a number of regional and international topics and issues of common concern, and the advanced level of coordination between the two countries.
