People are moving away from sending images through the WhatsApp application, largely, due to the “reducing image quality” feature on the application, which deprives the user of high quality, for the sake of a smaller space for images. However, the "Wapita Info" website revealed that the famous application is conducting tests to add the "high-quality photo exchange" feature to the application.
This addition, if approved, will be "revolutionary", and will greatly increase the rate of sharing photos through the application, and will facilitate the process of exchanging photos between people, instead of resorting to e-mail or the "Air Drop" feature on iPhone phones.
WhatsApp currently reduces the quality of photos you send by 70 percent. While this ensures faster data sharing, it can be annoying, especially if you plan to share photos on other platforms, such as Instagram.
Beta versions of WhatsApp will give the user the option to adjust the image quality when sending images. According to WapitaInfo, images will continue to be sent in "low quality", but users will have the option to select HD quality.
