The Minister of Fisheries in the Somali government receives the Ambassador of Norway in his office
On Sunday, the Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy in the Federal Government of Somalia, Ahmed Hassan Adam, received the Norwegian Ambassador to Somalia, Carsten Carlsen, in his office.
During the meeting, the Somali minister discussed with the Norwegian ambassador the strengthening of relations between the two countries and effective cooperation, and other issues of common interest.
Ambassador Carsten Carlsen thanked the minister for the warm reception and welcome, and indicated that his country is ready to work with his ministry in developing the infrastructure in fish production and exploitation of marine wealth.
For his part, the Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy informed the Norwegian Ambassador of his ministry’s focus on developing the fishing sector and enabling coastal communities to benefit from fish wealth.
