The World Bank sends a warning to the Somali government

 The World Bank has issued a warning to the Somali Federal Government regarding the delay in submitting the audit report for projects financed by the Bank, and this may affect the projects carried out by the World Bank in Somalia.

The World Bank indicated that the report, which was scheduled to be submitted on June 30, 2023, has not yet been submitted, and explained that this delay may affect new projects planned by the World Bank in Somalia.

The World Bank stated that if financial closure for Somalia projects is not received within nine months of the specified deadline, the Bank will take actions that will have impacts on its projects in Somalia.
