President Hassan Sheikh calls on the regional states to maintain the unity of the country
The Somali federal government called on regional state governments not to politicize crucial issues such as: unity, solidarity and political independence of the country. The Somali government said it is committed to continuing efforts to improve relations with Puntland so that the Somali people can have a Somali government that can achieve their ambitions.It was stated in a press release by the Somali Presidency that the federal government has made a lot of effort to improve the cooperation relationship between it and all regional governments, especially Puntland, until it becomes a legal relationship based on the interest of the people and the country.
The federal government distanced itself from the politicization of economic, development and humanitarian issues, indicating that it is working to strengthen the constitutional duties and rights of the regional states.
