Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, and former presidents Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo sent congratulations to Ogas Yusuf Ogas Hassan Ogas Khalif, who was inaugurated yesterday on the outskirts of the town of “Helgen” in Hiran region in central Somalia.
A statement issued by the Somali presidency indicated that the federal government gives top priority to issues related to culture, reconciliation and the unity of the Somali people.
Hundreds of people, including government officials, politicians and traditional elders, attended the inauguration ceremony of the 21st leader of the Hawadli tribe, which was held in the Dehra Ogas region, located on the outskirts of the town of Helgen.
