Somali Deputy Prime Minister discusses stabilization efforts with the President of Hirshabelle State

 Somali Deputy Prime Minister, Salih Ahmed Jama, held a meeting with Ali Godlawi Hussein, the head of Hirshabelle State, in his office in Mogadishu to discuss stabilization efforts. Deputy Prime Minister Jammeh affirmed the government's commitment to providing basic services such as education, health care, clean water and establishing local administrative and security structures to promote stability and development in the region.

The meeting focused on enhancing the delivery of basic services in the Hirshabelle area, evaluating ongoing projects, discussing the implications for the stabilization programme, and also addressed the needs of local residents, especially those affected by conflicts with Al-Shabaab.

President Goodlawe shared insights from his recent tour of areas liberated from Al-Shabaab in Hirshabelle, where he assessed conditions in those areas, emphasizing the importance of monitoring first-hand the challenges faced by residents.
