Finance ministers of the federal and regional governments meet in Mogadishu
On Tuesday, the Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Bihi Iman Aghi, opened the 22nd meeting of Finance Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia, Regional Governments and the Banadir Regional Government in Mogadishu.This meeting will discuss issues of economic development, the country's financial management process, resource distribution and tax unification, which is important for the growth of the Somali economy. The meeting, attended by finance ministers at the federal and regional levels, is expected to conclude today. The Minister of Finance of Puntland, who was one of the ministers invited to the meeting, was absent from the meeting.
After the opening of the meeting, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Bihi Iman, and the Minister of State at the Ministry, Mrs. Rahu Mahmud Jango, listened to the recommendations of the regional government ministers and answered questions related to the development of financial affairs and public cooperation.
