Somali PM receives Finnish Interior Minister
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, received a delegation headed by the Finnish Minister of Interior, Ms. Mari Rantanen, in his office in Mogadishu on Tuesday.Barre held a meeting with the Minister that focused on strengthening the long-standing relations and cooperation between Somalia and Finland, especially in the field of security, emphasizing the progress made by Somalia in the field of security, and highlighting the important achievements made by his government in its war against extremist groups.
The Prime Minister also noted Somalia's growing role in global security, following its recent election to the UN Security Council, stressing the shared commitment of both countries to promoting stability and strengthening mutual interests.
