Snapchat: New Tools to Easier Video Creation

The social media platform Snapchat has announced a set of new tools and features to facilitate content creation and sharing on the platform.

The platform will launch a "Timeline Editor," a new way to create videos from saved Memories, the ability to automatically save Stories to profiles, and more.

Snapchat said the Timeline Editor will give content creators a more streamlined way to edit videos directly on the platform.

The feature also allows videos to be viewed chronologically, making it easier to trim, move, or rearrange clips.

Once the sequence is set, users can add Lenses, music from their recording library, and use other creative tools.

This tool could eliminate the need for users to edit simple videos on third-party editing platforms like CapCut before posting them to Snapchat.

Content creators will also have access to a new "Create a Video" template that allows them to select a few Memories, choose a song from their Snapchat recording library, and choose their preferred template to create a custom collage video.

Users will soon also be able to automatically save their public stories to their profiles, allowing others to review the content.
