Belgrade - Somali Defense Minister Ahmed Moalim Faqi held a meeting with his Serbian counterpart, Bratislav Gasic, in Belgrade. Discussions between the two ministers focused on defense cooperation opportunities, affirming the two countries' commitment to strengthening a cooperative partnership.
Minister Faki emphasized the importance of regional security and stability, highlighting Somalia's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and promote peace within its borders.
Minister Gasic welcomed his Somali counterpart and expressed Serbia's readiness to support Somalia in strengthening its defense capabilities. He noted that cooperation in military training, intelligence sharing, and logistical support would greatly benefit both countries.
