Real Madrid... Cucurella reveals his only condition for getting a haircut
Spanish defender Marc Cucurella of Chelsea believes the departure of his former Italian manager Enzo Maresca and the club's policy of signing young players are behind the London club's recent struggles. He also confirmed he would shave his head if he received an offer from Real Madrid. Maresca left Stamford Bridge on New Year's Day by mutual agreement after just 18 months in charge, following a breakdown in his relationship with the club's management. The 27-year-old defender told The Athletic: "These are decisions for the club to make. If you asked me, I wouldn't have made this decision. When making a change like this, it's better to wait until the end of the season. Then everyone, the players and the new manager, has the time to prepare and go through a full preseason."
When asked if he would shave his head if he won the World Cup with Spain, he replied: "No, my hair is sacred." He clarified that the only thing that might make him consider shaving his head was Real Madrid, saying: "If I had to choose between cutting my hair or playing for Real Madrid, I would shave it all off."
