Somalia and India strengthen strategic cooperation

 Somalia and India discussed ways to strengthen strategic cooperation and bilateral relations during a meeting between the Somali Foreign Minister and the Indian Ambassador to Mogadishu. The statement added that the two sides reviewed the long-standing historical ties between Somalia and India, which are based on years of cooperation and understanding.

The Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali received the Indian Ambassador to Somalia, Dr. Adarsh ​​Swaika, at the ministry headquarters in Mogadishu and accepted a copy of his credentials.
