Somalia and Sudan discuss strengthening diplomatic coordination and regional security.

 The Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Hamza Adam Hadu, held an official meeting today with the Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador Muawiya Osman Khalid. The discussions focused on ways to develop the strategic partnership and enhance bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to activate regular consultations and review existing agreements, while expanding diplomatic coordination and addressing regional security issues to ensure the achievement of shared interests and promote development and stability in the region.

The meeting was held in the presence of a high-level delegation that included the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Somalia, His Excellency Abdul Rahman Khalil Effendi, along with a number of officials and diplomats from both sides, in a move that reflects the depth of historical ties and mutual commitment to deepening integration between Mogadishu and Khartoum.
