The Foreign Minister receives the new Djiboutian ambassador to Mogadishu

 The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received today, Thursday, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to Somalia, Colonel Osman Doubed Sogle, on the occasion of his assumption of his new diplomatic duties.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Minister received a copy of the Djiboutian Ambassador's credentials during a meeting held at his office in the capital, Mogadishu. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen fraternal relations and bilateral cooperation between Somalia and Djibouti, in addition to issues of common interest, particularly those related to supporting regional stability and enhancing cooperation in the Horn of Africa.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing joint coordination in a way that serves the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples, and strengthens the existing partnership between Mogadishu and Djibouti.
