 Artificial intelligence has increased its importance in the health sector, especially in areas that require an accurate assessment of the health problem, such as dentistry, as its techniques contribute to the treatment and beautification of the roots of teeth, and simulate the traditional method of treatment, but faster and more accurately.

Despite its late arrival in the world of dentistry, artificial intelligence technologies have become a major focus in oral health, dental treatment and beautification. Dentists may have a major role in adopting these techniques in their work and in their various surgeries in saving many patients, whether those with tumors or heart and lung diseases.

These techniques are included in the field of radiology, which helped doctors in particular to collect patient data accurately and to put the appropriate treatment based on the correct diagnosis.

Like other specialties, dentistry relied on artificial intelligence specifically by employing X-rays and others on a large scale. Thanks to certain algorithms, caries in deep dental cavities can be diagnosed and detected, and treatment simulated through an X-ray image supported by artificial intelligence.

More than that, today American universities and advanced dental clinics rely on artificial intelligence as one of the medical systems to make clear and accurate decisions in their dealings with patients. Where they download these advanced programs to read x-ray images, plan treatment, and put the final image of the shape of the teeth and adjust it based on facial features before it is actually applied to the patient.

- The first aspect is the diagnosis, which has become more accurate, for example, the x-ray image may be subject to different readings, as happens when estimating caries or gum recession.

- The accumulation that doctors had, in reading x-rays, became useful, after it was included in artificial intelligence programs.

- The second aspect lies in the compensation, that is, when designing the teeth in order to obtain a better smile.
