The United Arab Emirates has praised the Somali government's efforts in its war against Al-Shabaab, eradicating corruption and achieving development.
This came during a meeting between the Somali Prime Minister, Hamzah Abdi Berri, today, Tuesday, in his office in Mogadishu, with the Emirati Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Jumaa Al-Rumaithi.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated the UAE's support for Somalia in all security, development and humanitarian fields. It should be noted that historical relations link between Somalia and the UAE. Abu Dhabi is considered one of the most prominent countries supporting Somalia in various fields.
