The Prime Minister receives the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Somalia

 The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, received in his office the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Somalia, Mr. Charles Mbala.

The Prime Minister discussed with Mbala the current situation of refugees and displaced persons living in the country and finding sustainable solutions through the establishment of development projects in order to find a permanent solution to the problems that cause displacement.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the activities carried out by the Commission in the country based on the government’s priority issues, adding that preparations for the coming rains must be considered.

For his part, the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Somalia, Charles Mbala, promised that they will work closely with various government agencies, to ensure priority issues that the two sides work on to achieve success.
