The Somali army commander receives military vehicles donated by the European Union to the Somali forces

 The Commander of the Somali Army, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyiddin, received military vehicles donated by the European Union for the 14th Regiment of the Somali National Army, which is stationed in the Lower Shabelle region.

This contribution is part of the European Union's ongoing support to enhance the operational readiness and mobility of the Somali Armed Forces. The October 14 Regiment, famous for its pivotal role in maintaining security and stability in the region, will benefit greatly from these reinforcements.

The handover ceremony, which was held at the regiment's base, was attended by a number of dignitaries and military officials.
