The Somali government announces the resumption of development projects in Puntland
The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mahmoud Abdirahman (Bini Bini), announced that the federal government has resumed development projects in Puntland that were voluntarily suspended by the regional administration.Minister Benny Benny indicated that the state of Puntland had previously suspended the implementation of these projects in areas under its administration, but had now agreed to resume them.
This announcement comes a day after Puntland sent a letter to the international community in which it accused the Somali federal government of politicizing projects aimed at supporting the state, calling on international donors to send the aid allocated to it directly.
