The army commander meets the British ambassador to Somalia

 Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyiddin, Commander of the Somali National Army, on Wednesday met with the British Ambassador to Somalia, Mike Nithavrianakis, to discuss ongoing efforts to strengthen the security sector in Somalia.

The meeting focused on several key areas, including rebuilding the Somali army and the UK's continued support for these efforts. The dialogue also covered plans for the rehabilitation of military barracks, which are crucial for the effective training and deployment of Somali forces.
