Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan visits Somalia to enhance bilateral cooperation
A high-level Azerbaijani delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Yalchin Rafiev, visited the Federal Republic of Somalia to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian fields, as well as to strengthen relations between the two countries.During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed Moalim Faqi, in addition to a number of senior officials. Discussions focused on prospects for bilateral cooperation in several key areas, including oil and gas, renewable energy, agriculture, fisheries, humanitarian aid, and education.
The Azerbaijani delegation included representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Defense Industry, Energy, Science and Education, Economy, and Agriculture, as well as the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations of the President of Azerbaijan.
