Somalia and Egypt discuss cooperation in the field of justice
The Chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Judge Bashi Yusuf Ahmed, received a high-level delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs in his office. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in areas such as training, exchanging experiences, and modernizing the judiciary.The meeting was attended by the President of the Banadir District Court of Appeal, the President of the Banadir District Court, and other officials from Somali judicial institutions. Chief Justice Bashi emphasized the deep-rooted and long-standing relationship between Somalia and Egypt, expressing commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at developing and modernizing the judicial systems of both countries. He pointed out that the two countries will participate in a continuous exchange of training and experience.
For their part, Egyptian judicial officials expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received during their visit. They acknowledged the significant progress made by Somalia's judicial institutions and affirmed their readiness to work closely together to strengthen and modernize justice and legal frameworks in both countries.
