Mogadishu Mayor Discusses with Security Officials Ways to Enhance Capital's Security
The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amir, chaired a special meeting with a number of high-ranking security officials to discuss enhancing security measures in the capital. The meeting was attended by the Governor of Banadir Region for Political and Security Affairs, the Director of the Security and Intelligence Service in the region, in addition to the Commander of the Military Police Forces.The governor, Amir, called on officials to intensify monitoring of the performance of security checkpoints, while praising the great efforts made by the security forces in confronting incidents that threaten stability and negatively affect the lives of residents in the capital.
Recently, various areas of Banadir province have witnessed large-scale security campaigns carried out by the security forces of the federal government, with the aim of confronting potential security threats and enhancing the security of Mogadishu.
