 The Chairman of the Disaster Management Authority, Mr. Mahmoud Maalim Abdullah, received a food donation intended for needy and poor families from the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Juma Al Rumaithi.

The head of the Disaster Management Authority delivered this donation, which was planned to reach 600 families, to the districts of Abdul Aziz, Hamrouini, and Shangani in Banadir Governorate, stressing that priority should be given to the families in greatest need.

For his part, Mr. Al Rumaithi promised that humanitarian aid weighing 7,000 tons would arrive in the country from the United Arab Emirates government during the next month of Ramadan, with the aim of helping the Somali people who need support and assistance in daily life.
