The Prime Minister holds a meeting with traditional leaders in Lasaanoud
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, held an important meeting on Saturday evening with traditional leaders from the Khatima administration areas, during his historic visit to the city of Lasaanoud.
Discussions centered around strengthening national unity, advancing peace and reconciliation efforts, and promoting long-term stability in the country. The Prime Minister heard constructive proposals from leaders on rebuilding the country and ensuring the presence of government institutions capable of providing basic public services to society in Khatima areas.
Prime Minister Hamzah expressed his deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by traditional leaders in promoting peace and unity, stressing his government's commitment to expanding state institutions and preserving the unity of the Somali people.
