The Ministry of Labor commemorates International Workers' Day

 The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs commemorated International Workers' Day on Saturday in Mogadishu. The event, held under the theme "Empowering Somali Workers through Decent Work and Skills Development," highlighted the role of workers in the country's development.

Federal government officials, representatives from the private sector, and labor unions participated in the event. During the event, the Director General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mohamed Sani Dalmar, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government, the private sector, and labor unions to ensure fair employment opportunities and enhance workers' skills.

In turn, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, His Excellency Professor Salem Aliyo Ibraw, congratulated Somali workers on the occasion of International Workers' Day, and urged them to continue their efforts to develop workers and create sustainable job opportunities.
