WhatsApp users in India can now do their grocery shopping without leaving the app, in a new update that may be rolled out around the world. Meta, the owner of the WhatsApp application, announced a new cooperation with Jio Mart, through which users can send a text message “Hi” to a specific number and go to the in-app shopping experience.
Meta believes that chat shopping will bring the largest income to WhatsApp in the future. How will WhatsApp turn into a “super” application, according to the plan of the “Meta” company:
The goal of the plan is to turn WhatsApp into a "super application", in which you can accomplish any things in your life through it, and it is not limited to conversations only.
1-Use the app to pay the rent.
2-Use the app to purchase tickets for various events and events.
3-Use the app to buy food seamlessly without resorting to other apps.
4-Double the profits of the application because of the double use of it, because it will become a "super application".
According to The Verge, the company has been developing in-app shopping for the past two years, continues to squeeze user-to-user payments, and is actively developing its own WhatsApp Business app. The app aims to be a safe place to talk to your loved ones, but if it can also be a place for you to talk to your airline, grocer, your hairdresser, and your broker, then that place can become even more powerful.
