Somalia participates in the meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Towns Organization in Baghdad

 The Governor of Banadir Province and the Mayor of the capital, Mogadishu, Yusuf Hussein Jumali “Madali,” participated in the 61st Executive Council meeting of the Arab Towns Organization, which was hosted by the Baghdad Municipality.

The meeting aims to preserve the identity and heritage of Arab cities through exchanging expertise and experiences, maximizing state revenues, and increasing cooperation between Arab countries.

The General Secretariat stated in a statement that “the meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Cities Organization in its 61st session was held in Baghdad under the chairmanship of the Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kazem, and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Organization and its affiliated institutions, the secretaries of the capitals and officials of the municipal administrations of 20 Arab cities after a rupture that extended to 35 years.”
