The United Arab Emirates provides food aid to Somalia
Today, at an event held at Adam Adi Airport in Mogadishu, the Somali Disaster Management Agency received from the sisterly United Arab Emirates a shipment of aid consisting of different categories of food items.This shipment of aid was delivered by a cargo plane belonging to the United Arab Emirates government, and its arrival coincided with the approaching month of Ramadan.
The Vice President of the Somali Disaster Management Agency, Dr. Ahmed Abdi Adam, and other officials from the agency received the shipment from officials from the Emirates Red Crescent, and Adam promised to deliver aid to the needy Somali people.
