A high-level African Union delegation, led by the Head of Peace Support Operations, General Cheikh Dembélé, met with government officials, representatives of troop-contributing countries to the African Union Transitional Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) and international partners in a series of meetings aimed at discussing the mission’s security plans.The meetings, which took place over several days, focused on important topics such as the withdrawal of the third phase of AMISOM forces and post-withdrawal security plans.
